The concern with energy efficiency tests can be seen by the creation of several programs in the countries, one of the best known worldwide is carried out by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, created since 1992, a voluntary labeling program, called ENERGY STAR®, where they started only with monitors and computers and currently have several types of products, some of which can be mentioned, such as: home appliances, lighting equipment, industrial and commercial equipment.

In Brazil, through INMETRO, it created the Energy Efficiency Label and currently the performance of energy efficiency tests is mandatory for several types of products.

Within this context, ELDORADO has laboratories to meet energy efficiency tests, which can be used both for certification and for product development, which are home appliances, electromedical products, telecommunications, information technology equipment and any other products. 

The laboratory’s infrastructure consists of a robust measuring system of excellent accuracy for carrying out energy efficiency measures.
